FCS Football Championship
The 2026 FCS Football Championship is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 5, 2026, at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The championship game will feature the top two teams advancing through the FCS playoffs. As in previous seasons, the playoff field will include 24 teams, with 10 conference champions earning automatic bids and the remaining 14 teams selected at‑large by the Division I Football Championship Committee. The 2026 FCS Football Championship is expected to be an exciting and highly competitive event, bringing together the strongest programs from across the country to compete for the national title.
